"It is Haraam to consume Haraam food. Similarly, it is Haraam to take any benefit from the Haraam food. To buy or sell Haraam food is also Haraam.
Therefore, it is not permissible to buy Haraam food to feed the cat. Halaal meat should be used. (Fataawa Rahimiyyah vol.10 pg.138; Darul Ishaat)"

What is Suci/Pure?
Suci means pure, healthy, and wholesome, and free from dirt, filth, pork and substances considered repulsive. "Ingredients not derived from or contaminated with pig or dog and its derivative. Part of an animal that does not contain blood such as hair, horn, and nail. The skin of dead animals other than pigs or dogs (which were not slaughtered) but have been tanned or cleaned by water, sunshine, or chemicals." https://www.ifrc-asia.org/index.aspx
The Islamic Food Research Centre (IFRC) offers a Suci/Pure certification for cat food that has become widely accepted in the Muslim countries of the Middle East, Asia and South East Asia. The Islamic Food Research Centre (IFRC) is a member of the World Halal Council. https://www.worldhalalcouncil.com/?team=islamic-food-research-centre-hong-kong-malaysia-ifrc-asia
"IFRC is the pioneer for SUCI (PURE) / Ṭāhir certification for pet food products. IFRC started to issue the first SUCI (PURE) / Ṭāhir certificate ... in 2002 . . . Since then, due to high demands, we had expanded our SUCI certification globally and certified manufacturers of pet food products in Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, Brunei, Pakistan, Singapore, China, and recently Taiwan." https://www.ifrc-asia.org/index.aspx
Halal Cat Foods will be offering products that are Halal and others that are Suci/Pure. Each will be clearly marked. They will all be certified by Islamic/Halal authorities.
